Assignment: Design a poster that “advertises” a specific typeface by visually showcasing it and including a short blurb about it (text is provided).The poster should strongly communicate the characteristics of the typeface.Although the poster copy has been provided, you are encouraged to read up on the typeface you choose.
This exercise was meant to increase your awareness of type as image, while simultaneously showcasing the distinct characteristics of a typeface. Remember that typographic form can express both form and content.
I was inspired by Helvetica’s Swiss routes, and went with a swiss army knife look to showcase the fonts very functional yet simple design.

Client: The Beatles
For this project, we were tasked with creating a concert poster for an artist that was no longer performing. The tricky part of this project was that we could only use text. I picked the iconic Abbey Road album cover , and filled the varius Beatles in with lyrics from songs they had written.
